- In 1995  graduated from Medical school №4,  "dental technician" department with honors;
- In 2000  graduated from the dental department of the Kiev Medical Institute UANM;
- 2000-2008  worked as a dentist  in the state Darnytsia policlinic in Kyiv;
- From 2009 till today holds the post of chief doctor of dental clinic "TRI-NITI."
- In May 2008 took part in the III International Congress of  Dentists "Modern management methods and innovative technologies in dentistry" (St. Petersburg);
- in August 2008 received a certificate of ICDE (International Center for Dental Education) after passing the 56-hour course "Metal-free restorations  (inlay, veneers). Clinical examples of  using  dual-curing cement Variolink II. Modern composite materials. Prophylaxis) (town of Ellvanhen, Germany);
- In April 2009 attended the conference "Scientific and practical aspects of individual and professional oral hygiene of children and adults", Odessa;
- In December 2009 received a certificate "Base
theoretical course of implantation”  in  the studying center U-impl  (Kyiv);
- In February 2010 successfully completed the lecture and practical course in "American Dental Academy" named after N.S. Selezniova (St. Petersburg) on the topic: "Optimal algorithms of the dental clinic staff" (Kyiv);
- In December 2010 attended a lecture by Dr. Michael-David Perez on "Basic principles of occlusion and articulation in prosthetic ceramic designs based on zirconium oxide supported on natural teeth and implants”.

Professional growth:
- In 1999  graduated from  secondary school in Kiev with a gold medal;
- in 2004 successfully completed the dental department of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets;
- from 2004 to 2008  worked as a Children's dentist in the  Darnytsia policlinic inKyiv for a state division;
- since 2007 began on scientific activities and is currently working as an assistant of Department of Pediatric Dentistry and therapeutic prevention of dental diseases of the Kyiv Medical University UANM. Applicant on the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.
- since 2009  has been working in dental clinic        "TRI-NITI".
Scientific works of  Dr. Volodymyr Ostryanko  are published in the specialized journals "Dental Almanac" and "Contemporary Orthodontics".
- In February 2007 took part in the Fifth International Conference "New technologies of  Endodontics" (Kyiv);
- in September 2007 took part in the International lectures "Modern technologies of treatment and prevention in dental practice" during the international exhibition "MEDVIN" (Kyiv);

- September 2009 - attended a lecture by Givi Ordzhonikidze on the subject:
"The philosophy of prosthodontics XXI century";
- December 2009 - took part in the third Pan-European Dental Congress;
- In July 2010  was trained in the "Center for surgery and implantation  under the guidance of Dr. Sebastian Schmidinger, city of Seefeld (Germany);
- In December 2010  attended a lecture by Dr. Michael Perez-Davidi on topic: "The basic principles of occlusion and articulation for prosthesis with ceramic designs based on zirconium oxide based on natural teeth and implants";
- In March 2011 participated in the workshop of Prof. Sergey Radlinskyi  "Free design in the restoration of anterior teeth. "
- In July 2011 took a course in periodontology and Vector-therapy.
