Dental braces are removable devices, adjusting the position of the teeth during malocclusion. These are a series of locks, which are glued with a special dental adhesive (bond) on the outer or inner surface of the teeth. A bracket has a groove, where there is an orthodontic archwire with "shape memory". The resistance of the arch at its bend on the curved jaw is the force that slowly but steadily aligns dentition during the orthodontic treatment with braces.
Braces can be:
1. Metal
Advantages: not very expensive, easy to use and replace if necessary, it is possible to set colour ligatures.
Disadvantages: noticeable during communicating and smiling.

Additional description: suitable for demanding to aesthetics people, in terms of functionality, they are the same as metal.

3. Self-ligating braces Damon system
Advantages: high functionality, reduced time of treatment to 30-40%.
Disadvantages: more expensive than sapphire, metal parts of braces are visible.
